I like the second as it has a beautiful and delicate sky that gets overshadowed with the texture. But...I do like the texture - maybe ease up the opacity of the first?
Thanks for your comments! I'm still torn. Perhaps, as L.L. Barkat writes, they're just different. Though I'd agree with Char on the texture taking away from the sky. Though I don't know if I can change that with Picasa?
It's a grocery bag... The wind was fierce that day and trash was blowing everywhere. The sky was gorgeously moody and the discarded bag caught my heart. What it represented to me: loneliness and inattention, neglect and loss.

Hmmm... each so different. I like the first for its moody quality. The second highlights composition more because of the crispness.
So.
Both? : )

Hello, thank you so much for stopping by my blog to say hello. I am glad to meet one of my fellow unravel-ers ;-)
PS I like the first one best. It's dreamy and begs for a story... but I'm kind of in a dreamy mood myself right now :-)

the first one is so warm and lovely. : )
I'd go for the bottom one. In this caas i much prefer the more natural feeling to the version at the bottom
