And today I'm grateful for: a freshly brewed dark roast and canned applesauce,
laughter with old friends, the faces of forgotten photographs
brightly colored socks and knitting needles,
sounds of whistling from drafty hallways, a door opened
and from within, a young child's tired voice whining cold, saying 'pappy.'
ginger tea and sweet puppy kisses,
I curl into quilted blankets for an afternoon nap.

Is this your photo? I love it.
beautiful, I like to write about what I notice to keep me challenged to be mindful in my daily life, but I love how you write what I'm grateful for
