My Etsy Store

So, I've opened an Etsy Store. For greetings cards. Because I love to write them. And I'm always thrilled to receive them! And, of course, as I prepare to graduate from a Masters program in Theological Studies (so marketable, I know!) and plan to move away from the city, with all of my student loans in tow, I'm kinda nervous (okay, terrified if I must be honest) about the whole money thing... And a little extra cash can go a long way.
I know quite a few of you are seasoned "Etsyers" and I would be grateful for your suggestions. I'm quite uncomfortable with the idea of "marketing myself," but I've gotta dive into the world, visible and exposed, at some point. So why not now?
Please, if you happen to check out my store, send along some feedback! And if you have the time, let me know what has worked for you or . . . maybe just some advice on taking risks, and on making ends meet in this big and beautiful (and did I say big?) world.
Smiles and gratitude,
Elizabeth

I want to open one too - I was aiming for the summer. I need to take a good critical eye to see what I think would sale. Maybe I need to have a contest or something.

I can't wait to check out the store. I know your art and I bet it is going to be so successful.

you are offering some gorgeous photos! I wish you lots of luck and sales!

one piece of feedback I can give .. when I clicked on your etsy store link, the first photo that came up was the hawk feather, and I was a bit confused as to what I would get if I ordered it. I thought maybe a card with the poem on it? [You did list that it was a 4x6 print, but it was at the bottom of the entry so I didn't notice it until I went back later - I skim, which is what I think most people do - now that I think of it, I've seen this a lot on etsy photos, a poem .. and was always confused, now I know. :)]. I had to read through all your other items to figure it out.

Char, ELK, Elizabeth, Thank you for your support!
ELK- glad you received the card, I'm simply in love with Song Bird...
Elizabeth- thanks for the feedback! That is confusing. I've noticed a few things that aren't so clear but I can't seem to edit now that I've posted the items (and it's .20 per item posted so...) But I'll work on being more clear as I post more items.

P.S. Char- if you've been thinking about opening a store, do it!!! It's kinda time-consuming but also fun. And you have some great prints to offer the world!

Curious... I wanted to buy the Twig Art greeting card. Is it one card? Can you buy a set of different twig art cards that come all as one package? I couldn't really tell from the Etsy site. I love your work. It's really gorgeous.

Which makes me think... would you ever consider letting me use some of your photos on my blog (I do this with other artists) and I would provide a link to you and point people to your Etsy shop? Just a thought. It would be on the Seedlings site, if you were interested.
